- From Bristol: Take the M5 southbound, exit at Junction 20 (Clevedon). Follow signs to the seafront, then to Marine Lake.
- From the South/Weston-super-Mare: Take the M5 northbound, exit at Junction 20, and follow signs to Clevedon seafront.
- From Yatton/Nailsea: Use the B3133 or B3130 via Kenn or Tickenham, then follow signs to Clevedon seafront.

- Salthouse Fields Car Park: The closest large car park to the lake, just a short walk along the promenade.
- The Salthouse Pub car park is for patrons only, and charges apply for use.

- 6 x Disabled Bays: Available at Salthouse Fields Car Park and along the promenade near the lake. It is approx. 250m from the disabled parking bays to the south end of the lake.
- Accessibility: Step-free access to the promenade and lake edge from the car park. Accessible toilets are available at the nearby public toilet block which is 375m from the disabled parking bays.

For those who prefer to arrive under their own pedal power, Clevedon is accessible by several scenic cycling routes, including the well-loved Strawberry Line.
The Strawberry Line Route
The Strawberry Line is a largely traffic-free cycle path running between Yatton and Cheddar. If you’re coming from the south, you can cycle the Strawberry Line to Yatton, then follow quiet roads and signposted cycle routes into Clevedon.
From Yatton:
- Leave the Strawberry Line at Yatton Station.
- Follow NCN Route 26 towards Clevedon, using quiet country lanes through Kenn.
- Enter Clevedon via Moor Lane, then follow signs to the seafront.
- The Marine Lake is located at the northern end of the promenade.
From Bristol
- Join NCN Route 410 (Festival Way) towards Nailsea.
- From Nailsea, follow quiet roads to Clevedon via Tickenham.

Trains from Bristol Temple Meads, Weston-super-Mare, and Taunton regularly stop here. From Yatton, Clevedon is approximately a 15-minute drive.
By Bus from the Train Station
From Yatton Station, you can take the Bus Service 54 (First Bus) towards Clevedon. The journey takes around 25 minutes, with stops close to the town centre. From there, it’s a short 10-minute walk to the lake along the seafront.
Alternatively, you can take the bus to Clevedon Triangle, then follow signs to the seafront and Marine Lake.
