What do our volunteers do?

Volunteers at Clevedon Marine Lake play a vital role in maintaining the site, supporting drain downs, collecting donations, and assisting with events. They also engage with visitors, promote safe use, and help ensure the lake remains accessible and welcoming for all.

How to get involved:

If you’d like to get involved with volunteering at Clevedon Marine Lake, we’d love to welcome you to our friendly team!

There are a variety of ways to help out, including maintenance, visitor engagement, clean-up crew, and event support.

If you’re interested, just fill out the volunteer form – we’d love to have you on board!

Join us on the third Saturday of each month, from 10–11am down at the Lake, for a relaxed session where you can learn what goes on behind the scenes and get hands-on with activities at the lake. Afterwards, enjoy a coffee morning from 11–12pm at the Salthouse Pub with some of the trustees to ask questions and connect with other volunteers.

How to become a volunteer?

Volunteering with us is a great way to support your local community, enjoy the outdoors, and be part of a friendly and passionate team. It’s also a chance to learn new skills, make friends, and experience the satisfaction of making a real difference.

We understand that everyone’s time is precious, so you can give as much or as little as you’re able – every bit of help is valued and appreciated.

If you’re interested in getting involved, simply complete the enquiry form at the bottom of this page. Alternatively, why not come along to one of our Volunteer Coffee Mornings? These take place on the 3rd Saturday of every month, giving you the chance to meet some of our amazing volunteers, ask questions, and get a feel for what we do. They’re relaxed, welcoming sessions—and a great way to socialise too!

If you’d prefer to chat with someone before deciding, feel free to contact us directly – we’ll be happy to get in touch and tell you more about how you can help.

We’d love to welcome you to the team!
