2. Eligibility
- Participants must be aged 16 years or over.
- Tickets may not be sold to, or by, persons under 16.
- By purchasing a ticket, you confirm you meet the age requirement.
3. Ticket Price
- Each ticket costs £5.
- Tickets must be paid for before entry into the draw.
- Tickets are non-refundable.
4. Draw Details
- The draw will take place on the third Saturday of each month at ‘Coffee with Marlens’ at the Salthouse Bar & Restaurant, Salthouse Road, Clevedon, BS21 7TY. Subscriptions must be received by the end of the previous month.
- Winners will be selected at random.
5. Prizes
- Prizes are up to 50% of the total money raised and may vary from month to month. For example, the prizes as at January 2026 are as follows:
1st Prize: £170
2nd Prize: £90
3rd Prize: £50
6. Notification of Winners
- Winners will be notified within 14 days of the draw.
- If a winner cannot be contacted within 14 days, the promoter reserves the right to redraw.
- Results will be published on the clevedonmarinelake.org.uk website.
7. Use of Proceeds
- All proceeds will be used to support the charitable purposes of Marine Lake Enthusiasts (MARLENS).
8. Data Protection
- Personal data will be used solely for the administration of the lottery.
- Information will not be shared with third parties except where required by law.
9. Liability
- The promoter’s liability is limited to the value of the prize.
- Nothing in these terms excludes liability for fraud or personal injury caused by negligence.
10. General
- The lottery is conducted in accordance with the Gambling Act 2005 and the society’s registration with North Somerset Council.
- The promoter’s decision is final.
11. Additional Provisions
- This lottery is not open to employees directly involved in the administration of the draw.

– In accordance with legal requirements, the surname and county of major prize winners may be made available upon request. Winners may object to this publication in writing.
